1. deForville Chard DOC: Piemonte Ca'del Buc (13%; NeilRosenthal/NY) Barbaresco 2022: Light gold color; some pencilly/toasty/Fr.oak fairly ripe melony/Chard/appley light earthy/stony fairly attractive nose; bit soft slight tangy/metallic bit stony/citric fairly ripe melone/Chard/appley/pear light pencilly/oak attractive flavor; med.long finish mimics the flavor; an altogether pleasant Chard that could be from anywhere & nothing Piemonte distinctive about it; fairly priced at $20.00 (PrimaIlC)

1. This wine comes from vineyards around their farmhouse in Castagnole Lanze called Cascina Buc.It was quite a pleasant expression of Chard at a fair price but nothing particularly distinctive to it.
