Tried this Fri night w/ friends:
1. Saint-Lannes IGP: Cotes de Gascogne (12%; 80% Colombard/20% GrosManseng; VintageImprts/Denver) Gascogne 2021: Light gold color w/ some bubbles; strong fruity/grapey/Colombard/appley bit floral/marigolds light chalky rather attractive bit simple nose; lightly tart/tangy/slight metallic slightly off-dry (0.1-0.3% r.s.) pleasant/grapey/floral/marigolds/appley light chalky/stony flavor w/ no signs of dissolved CO2; med.long finish mirrors the flavor; speaks strongly of SW France; not a profound white but interesting/pleasant at a very attractive price. $12.00 (SFW&S)

1. I saw this very inexpensive wine in at Susan's, so thought I'd give it a shot. It was a rather pretty white for that price that speaks of Gascony.
