2020 Camille Cayran Cairanne Le Grand Reserve – mid red, some nice sweet black fruit, some herbal notes and good weight. Finihed with fairly soft tannins so ready to drink now Another good wine that Decanter unaccountably gave ludicrously high scores to – 96 in this case. Not sure who rated it over there nor what they were smoking but it seems to be a trend for them lately. Were I to award points (which I don’t) something around 90-91 would be appropriate. Typical GSM blend at a good price.
