We tasted these Turley PetiteSirahs ystrday at Pig+Fig:
1. Turley Zin HayneVnyd/NapaVlly (17.1%) 1997:Dark color w/ some bricking; rather alcoholic/fumey some cedary/pencilly/oldZin some spicy/Zin bit peppery complex nose; somewhat hot/fumey/alcoholic some cedary/pencilly/oldZin complex flavor w/ light gentle tannins; med.long finish reflects flavor w/ light gentle tannins; still speaks of mature Zin but getting a bit ragged around the edges; not drying out & still offers up some pleasure.

More riplklot from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. I've always been fond of the Turley PS's. They seldom show the fierce alcohol levels that you get in their Zins. They can more reliably age well than the Zins.
The '97/'98 wines were starting to show their age but no signs of an eminent falling apart and still offered up plenty of pleasure.
The '10 PS's were in wonderful shape & I slightly preferred the Library as a bit more interesting.
