2013 Eric Texier Côtes du Rhône-Brézème - I figured that it was time to look at this CduR at the age of 10 years. It was dark and had a very nice nose of black olive - with the garrigue/herbal component t reminded me of a tapenade. That probably makes one think it was a heavy weight wine, but nothing of the sort - it was a middle weight and smooth - drinking well now and no big rush.
I have stock of the 2016 of this wine and also another of his 2013s that must have one of the longest names - Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban Vieille Serine Domaine de Pergaud, also a CduR that I should try soon.
