EttoreGermano Chard Dd'OC: Langhe (13%; www.EttoreGermano.com; RibeviWines/LaMesa/CA) Serralunga d'Alba 2020: Med.light gold color; very strong melony/Chard bit pineapple/mango some pencilly/oak fairly perfumey nose; bit soft lush/rich strong melony/Chard/light pineapple bit pencilly/oak flavor; long finish mimics flavor; an altogether pleasant/pretty expression of Chard but rather low-key/quiet & nothing really special; not the stature of the Riesling. $23.00 (KK)

AndreaMiro Textura 1 Naturalment Blanc Garnatxa Blanca Dd'O: TerraAlta/Catalonia (13.5%; 3466 btls; 8% brrl frmtd; natural; www.JordiMiro.wine; TheArtisanCollection/NY) JordiMiro/Corbera d'Ebre/Catalonia/Espana 2022: Med.light gold color; strong floral/GB/honeysuckle/ripe/pineapple quite perfumed slight perfumed talc quite attractive; soft slight tangy/metallic very rich/lush/ripe strong GB/honeysuckle/floral/gardenias huge GB fruit almost porky flavor; very long finish that mirrors the flavor; clean & no natty/funky charac ter at all; reminds some of the Turley WhiteCoat; a bit simple/big fruit & a bit on the porky side. $32.00 (LCSWS)

LucaFerraris OperaPrima Riserva D'dOC&G: Ruche di Castagnole Monferrato (16%; www.FerrarisAgricola.com; Giuliana Imprts/Boulder) Luca Ferraris/Castagnole Monferrato/Piemonte 2017: Very dark color w/ little bricking; beautiful very intense Ruche/floral/violets/alpine strawberries some Nebb-like some earthy/dusty/OV rather complex lovely nose; fairly tart/tangy quite rich intense Ruche/floral/violets/licorice/pungent rather dusty/OV/earthy quite structured rather complex big Nebb-like complex flavor w/ ample chewey tannins; very long/lingering finish w/ ample chewey tannins that mirrors the flavor; an absolutely stunning Ruche that needs 3-8 yrs of age. $45.00 (SFW&S)

1. The Ruche was from a new producer for me (www.ferrarisagricola.com/en/) who apparently specializes in Ruche. This is the top-of-the-line Ruche for him. It was one of the best Ruche I've had in ages. Very structured and should age well.
