Tried this wine last night:
1. Turley TheWhiteCoat Calif WW (13.8%; RattlesnakeRidge/NapaVlly Roussanne & PesentiVnyd/PasoRobles GrenacheBlanc + CobbVnyd/Amador Vermentino) 2017: Med.dark gold color; very strong fragrant/honeyed/honeysuckle/floral/Rouss slight appley light toasty/oak some complex very attractive nose; lightly tart very rich/lush some pencilly/toasty/Fr.oak strong floral/honeysuckle/Rouss light floral/GB rather attractive flavor; very long rich/lush bit soft strong honeysuckle/Rouss/floral finish; a rather attractive white Rhone blend that speaks mostly of Rouss; maybe a bit on the simple side but quite pleasant. $38.00

1. The White Coat is then name turley gives to their White Rhone blend. It comes from the fact that LarryTurley was an ER Physician in previous life & wore a white coat. I've always liked this wine, but it seldom gets to the level of some other Calif white Rhone blends.
