So Long to Wine Terroirist...

by TomHill » Fri Aug 11, 2023 3:05 pm

The Wine Terroirist Site/blog has been one of the first ones I look at every morning. It's a blog that links to a variety of wine articles across the Web on a new basis every day. Many of the links I post here I first picked up on Wine Terroirist. It was an easy way to pick up interesting wine articles every day w/o crawling the Web yourself. I found it a valuable asset.
And on Sundays, I found Isaac Baker's wine reviews very helpful.
Alas, David White (didn't know exactly who was behind it ) announced today that he was closing down his Wine Terroirist Site. It's available if anyone wants to pick up on his work.
Anyway, thank you David for all your work over the yrs. I very much appreciated it.

That's really too bad. I know what it's like when a heavily-relied on daily internet source vanishes, like losing a friend.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
