My son's high school's annual fundraising event is next Saturday, March 10. The live auction includes a case of 1989 Lynch-Bages. I already searched here for TNs or other comments on this wine and came up with nada. So I am posting a general request for any comments folks might have that they have not posted.
I realize provenance would impact the value of the case and will do research. The donor (or the auction director, not sure which) has put the value at $3500 which sounds high to me....almost $300 per bottle. Comments?
Thanks.
Cheers!
Mike

It's great, drinking now. Try Winesearcher.com. I bet it's about $200 per.

Somebody must want a generous tax writeoff; sounds a wee bit high to me, but should be great wine.

Well, the results are in. The case went for $3,600.

Great result, Mike. I love it when people are so generous in a good cause.
