More tittibipple from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Paolo Rodaro (www.rodaropaolo.it) is one of my favorite Friuli producers but I don't see his wines very often. These Rodaros are their "flower" level of wines, their basic label.
I'm a big fan of both these grapes. Malvasia d'Istriana is a more subtle expression of Malvasia Bianca w/ less in your face Malvasia character. Schiopettino has a very perfumed/peppery character that I love. Both should be being planted all up&down the coast of Calif.
