WTN: The Ancient One

• 2020 Bucklin Grenache Ancient Grenache Old Hill Ranch - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley (7/26/2023)
  Shocking level of tannin in this Grenache, but it has the stuffing to support it. Dark red fruit, herbal, and dusty tones give way to a chewy tannic finish. It’s only one bottle, but I think his has the stuffing to evolve in a harmonious way, but it will be a neck and neck race between the fruit and structure for the whole time.

I don't really think of California grenache as having much structure or tannin, interesting. I just signed up for the list, they seem in my wheelhouse, the one I had at a restaurant was superb.
