TablasCreek Esprit Blanc de Tablas Estate/AdelaidaDist/PasoRobles (13.0%; 75% Rouss/18% GrenacheBlanc/7% picpoulBlanc) PasoRobles 2016: Med.gold color; beautiful Rouss/floral/honeysuckle/honeyed bit honey graham slight nutty/toasted hazelnuts some modest pencilly/oak/smokey perfumed/fragrant rather complex nose; lightly tart/tangy very strong Rouss/floral/honeysuckle/gardenias rich/lush bright/balanced some pencilly/smokey/oak bit stony/perfumed talc rather complex beautiful developed flavor; very long/lingering rich/lush/complex/balanced finish that resembles flavor; a beautiful/complex Rhone Blanc that's just starting to show a bit of maturity; should go another 4-10 yrs at least.

1. The TablasCreek, Rouge & Blanc, are about my most favorite Calif Rhone blends. At release, they can often seem a bit on the simple side. But they routinely age incredibly well.
