You have this wine:

2015 Michelle Philipon Côte de Beaune Villages Pinot Noir
PnP'd last night. Gorgeous nose, and leathery notes are developing on the palate. Got better in the glass. Good now but it's best days are probably a year or two away.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Yes - always happy to get an update without having to pull a cork. You must be pleased as IIRC your first bottle ws less than pristine.
And thanks for the reminder - I also have the 2015 Michelle Philipon Maranges Vieilles Vignes which should be earlier drinking and I should get into it!

They also have his 2020 Santenay on for $5 off right now - may have to grab a couple.

Yup - just like Veuve Clicquot, although the original proprietor was a woman, the current business is run by her son, Christophe.

Had a bottle of his Santenay last evening on the patio and it was delightful.
