Tried these two Mon night:
1. Prunus PrivateSlctn DOC: Dao (12.5%; 50% Encruzado/20% Malvasia Fina/15% BiCal/15% Cereal Branco; 4 mo. in SS Vat & Concrete + 2 mo. in btl; http://www.GotaWine.com; Vegan) B by GotaWine 2021: Light yellow color; rather citrusy/lemon juice some floral/carnations/dandelions light chalky/stony/freshly laundered bed sheets dried on the line rather pleasant nose; rather tart/tangy fairly citric/lemony/stone fruits some floral/carnations/dandelions some chalky/stony slightly rich/lush rather attractive flavor; med.long finish that mimics flavor; a rather pleasant white but just that; reminds mostly of a fairly rich Loire CheninBlanc; fairly priced at $16.00 (KK)

Bedrock PaganiRanch Heritage SonomaVlly/SonomaCnty RW (14.6%; Plntd: 1880's; 30% new Fr.oak brls) Sonoma 2012: Dark color w/ some bricking; very strong peppery/SonomaVlly rather dusty/OV/slight earthy strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin bit black cherry cola/DrPepper/Alicante/rustic slight root beer modest toasty/Fr.oak pretty classic Pagani nose;lightly tart quite dusty/OV/earthy strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin some rustic/sauvage/black cherry cola/AB/bit DrPepper some toasty/Fr.oak slight cedary/pencilly classic Pagani some complex flavor w/ some rough/chewey tannins; very long/lingering bit tired finish that mimics flavor; a classic Bedrock Pagani w/ the AB giving a bit of a rough/rustic character; probably near its peak & a bit beyond w/ a bit ragged around the edges on the palate; drink up.

1. Lots of unfamiliar grapes that I'd never heard of in the Prunus. Nothing to indicate they should be being planted all up&down the Coast of Calif.
