Linda brought this dessert wine the other tasting:
1. DryCreekVnyds Soleil LateHrvst SauvBlanc (LimitedEdition; First Soleil since 1997; Hevstd: LateHrvst/Botrytis Cinerea; SaH: 35 Brix; RS: 10%; 900 cs) Jeff McBride 2000: Very dark bronze/golden/browning color; very intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty very honeyed/honeycomb/orangey very complex beautiful mature nose; rather tart/tangy intense botrytis/orangey/honeycomb/apricotty/peachy some Sauternes-like quite sweet complex beautiful flavor; very long/lingering finish that mimics flavor; a beautiful mature/complex botrytis SauvBlanc that resembles an old Sauternes but not the oak of a Sauternes nor the complexity. $nc (vLD)
