Tried this new arrival from Drew last week:
1. Drew Chard Radiolaria Faite de Mer Farm/MendoRidge (13.6%; Clones: Dijon 548/Wente/Dijon 76; 18 mo. in neutral Foudre & seasoned Fr.oak barrels; 15% new Fr.oak; Drk: 2023-2033: JD) Elk 2021: Light gold color; very fragrant/perfumed floral/gardenias/melony/citrusy slight almondy/honeyed light pencilly/Fr.oak some saline rather complex beautiful Chard nose almost perfumed like a Viog; very tart/tangy/citrusy/slight grapefruity some floral/gardenias/white flowers almost Alpine flowers/edelweiss rather taut/wirey/saline lovely flavor; very long/lingering bright/floral/Alpine white flowers/gardenias rather savory/saline/juicy complex light pencilly/Fr.oak beautiful finish; a beautiful expression of an Alpine/Savoie-like Chard; should age quite well & maybe even for 10 yrs; a beautiful saline/aromatic Chard; can taste the salt from the nearby Pacific. $60.00/$51.00

More niplbick from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. This is Jason & Molly's first Chard from their own Faite de Mer Farm. And it is a beautiful one. Maybe the best AndersonVlly Chard I've had in some yrs.
