More tibblerot from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. TerraVOX is a wnry just North of KansasCity. They specialize in grape crosses developed by T.V.Munson. They have dozens of different varieties in their vnyd (www.TerraVox.wine). It's interesting to visit their WebSite & look at some of the grapes, most you've never heard of. Most of their wines are blends & they don't identify the wines that are therein. Most are just field blends.
The wines all show rather low alcohol levels. But they are not thin/eviscerated/lean that belies the actual alcohol level. I was expecting them to display a lot of non-vinifera/hybridy character. They did not. You would be hard pressed to identify them as non-vinifera.
Quite an interesting set of wines.
