Tried these two last night at DinDin:
1. Badalucco de la Iglesia Garcia Griddu Verde VinoBianco (13.5%; Lotto 271021; http://www.ViniBadalucco.It; mFrmtd: 15 days on skins w/ native yeasts; Grill0/Griddu + Verdelho; HausAlpenz/Edina/MN) Pierpaolo e Beatriz Badalucco/Siculo-Spagnoli/Palermo/Sicily 2020: Deep bronze very cloudy/hazy color; very strong resiny/VM/phenolic very little fruit rather pungent nose; very tart/very sour/very austere strong VM/skin-contact very resiny/pungent rather earthy/dusty/saline no fruit rather bitter flavor; long very tart/tangy/bitter very strong resiny/VM/phenolic rather earthy/dusty/pungent/saline no fruit finish; a very unpleasant/painful wine to taste because dominated by the VM character & no fruit to speak of; may evolve into something interesting in 5-10 yrs of age but rather doubtful; overpriced at $28.00 (KK)

2. Guillaume Reynouard Tue-Tete Grolleau Gris Manosr de la Tete Rouge VdF (13%; 100% Grolleau Gris; 7 mo. in concrete tank; Biodynamic; Gamber & Co/Topanga/CA; Stork Wine Co) Loire 2020: Garnet/light rose/slight browning color; rather dusty/earthy/loamy slight strawberry/floral bit herbal/Gamay classic Loire red some attractive nose w/ no natty character; quite tart/tangy rather earthy/loamy/herbal slight strawberry/Gamay-like flavor w/ light brisk tannins; med.long slight prickle fairly earthy/loamy some herbal/floral/strawberry/Gamay-like rather pleasant finish w/ light brisk tannis; lots of Loire/herbal/loamy/earthy character that resembles a lighter Loire Gamay; a pleasant enough Loire red but nothing that makes Grolleau Gris particularly distinctive. $29.00 (SFW&S)

More girdlepotch from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Badalucco: Griddu is the local dialect name for Grillo. This is a Due Terre wine joining Sicily & Espana, for whatever that's worth. It is also a natural wine but shows no natty character at all. The wine, served at a cool room temperature was very painful to taste. The next morning, at a room temperature, was not quite so painful to drink. But I doubt it's ever going to be anything very special.

2. Grolleau: This is the Gris mutation of Grolleau Noire. Another natural wine that shows no natty character or unclean. A pleasant enough Loire red but nothing that suggests Grolleau Gris is a grape worh following.
