- 2012 Schäfer-Fröhlich Felseneck Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Nahe (6/12/2023)
Eleven years from the vintage, and finally this is approaching early maturity. There’s still a lot of peachy fruit, dressed with lime juice and a dash of salt. Mid palate picks up a touch of cream, then the acidity kicks in on the finish. Fruit and depth for many more years in this wine, but last bottle for me. Drink or hold if you’ve got them

Thanks for note, sounds great. Don't have this but have 2-3 bottles each of Felseneck Spat and Kupergrube GG. Early maturity on Kab makes me lean towards waiting just a bit. Hard when you only have couple bottles to make timing choices.

I would wait on the Spatlese, but the GG might very well be worth looking into.
