2021 Goodfellow Family Cellars Pinot Gris Whistling Ridge Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Ribbon Ridge (5/11/2023)
Tasted over two nights, this expressed two different faces of the grape. The first night, with minimal airing, it was dominated by a spicy character, and a touch of viscosity. Fast-forward twenty four hours, and the spice has receded to become a background note, with fresh pear and a background creamy note that adds depth to the finish. The balance is excellent, and it brings an Alsatian sensibility without the climate change induced Alsatian overripeness.

Sounds like a PG I would enjoy. Pity you do not have access to some from BC.
