Tried these three last night:
1. GaryFarrell Zin RRV/SonomaCnty (TW) GaryFarrell/Healdsburg 1995: Med.dark rather murky brown color; rather tired cedary/pencilly/oldZin light blackberry/Zin some complex nose; soft no fruit quite tired/cedary/pencilly/oldZin some toasty/oak some alcoholic flavor w/ light drying tannins; pretty much a tired/dried out/oldZin & not very interesting.

3. LimerickLane Zin BedrockVnyd SonomaVlly/SonomaCnty (Plntd 1854; 4 brls; 15.9%) Healdsburg 2018: Med.dark color w/ slight bricking; strong very spicy/blackberry/Zin strong SonomaVlly/peppery some toasty/pencilly/oak quite dusty/OV quite complex lovely nose; lightly tart/tangy bit hot/alcoholic very strong blackberry/boysenberry/ripe Zin some peppery/SV fairly dusty/OV some toasty/oak somewhat complex lightly structured flavor w/ modest ripe/chewey tannins; very long/lingering finish that mimics flavor; strarting to show a bit of age prematurely but probably as good as it will ever be; a bit non the hot/fumey side but still plenty of peppery/SV fruit.

More polygaster from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Didn't expect much from the two older Zins & they pretty much delivered on those expectations. The LimeickLane was showing a bit more of its age than I expected. It should go another 3-5 yrs but probably as good as it will ever be.
