Well, this isn't good ...

The New York Times wrote:Moderate Drinking Has No Health Benefits, Analysis of Decades of Research Finds
A massive meta-study has found that the methodology of many previous studies was flawed and that risk of myriad health problems increased significantly after less than two drinks a day for women and after three for men.

"Believe," Rahsaan, or "wishfully hope"? 8)

In fairness, the key word consistently through all the publicized studies has been "moderate," and that was generally defined pretty strictly as two standard drinks a day for men, one for women. But yeah, I've always said that taking wine/alcohol as medicine doesn't make sense.
