We tried these two whites w/ SteveCostigan on Sat:
1. Willful Wine Co Jezebel OR WW (13%; several Alsatian varietals from throughout OR; http://www.WillfulWine.com) PamWalden/DaedalusCllrs/Eugene/OR NV(2021): Pale gold color; quite fragrant floral/bit R-like lightly spicy/mineral/chalky quite pretty/aromatic nose; fairly tart/tangy slight chalky/mineral slightly off-dry (0.1%-0.3% r.s.?)quite floral/R-like/mango slight mineral quite pretty flavor; long rather floral/R-like/mango near dry slight chalky/stony quite pretty finish; a very pretty floral/aromatic white & very fairly priced. $18.00 (KK)
______________
2. Kobayashi 79% Marsanne/21% Roussanne (14%; http://www.kobayashiwinery.com) 2021: Med.light yellow color; fairly strong ripe/Maarsanne/floral/appley bit honeysuckle light pencilly/oak slight stony very attractive nose; bit soft lush/ripe/slight metallic strong ripe/Marsanne/floral/appley/honeysuckle slight earthy/stony slightly Rhonish light pencilly/oak bit complex lovely flavor; very long/lingering rather rich/lush bit soft ripe/Marsanne/appley/floral/honeysuckle slight stony light pencilly/oak lovely finish; a very attractive classic WhiteRhone blend that reminds me a lot of the Jaffurs whites but less oak; bit pricey at $60.00 (vSC)

More listerferq from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Jezebel is the 2'nd label for PamWalden's Willful Wine Co. Not at all familiar w/ those wines.
Kobayashi is a wine that Steve brought to share. Had never heard of this wnry. Their WebSite is pretty devoid of any informatin.

Kobayashi is a winery owned by one Travis Allen and his wife Mario (yes, with an 'o', but wife not husband). He has only released a handful of vintages but is already surrounded by buzz because tough reviewers like Steve Tanzer called Travis’ 2017 white "very much in the style of a topnotch rich white Hermitage.…” He only makes one barrel of each wine, so there isn't much to go around. I haven't tasted them myself.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
