2020 Bedrock Wine Co. Cuvée Karatas - USA, California, Sonoma County (3/27/2023)I could spend time describing the aromas and flavors of this wine, but for me it was all about the texture. Certainly it smelled good and the taste was delicious, but the supple, rich texture was enthralling. It was a weighted blanket on a cool winter night. All comfort. Utterly satisfying.

Similar to a bottle two years ago, the texture of this wine was wonderful. On the palate it showed more green character, probably the Sauvignon Blanc component poking its nose out from under the Semillon. So with that I was not as much of a fan. Think I will sit on my remaining bottles to see if the Semillon reasserts itself.
