Friday was Hmart marinated ribeye (bolgogi), Chinese spinach, rice, and oyster mushrooms. Wine was the 1989 La Fleur de Gay. Classic lush Pomerol, ripe cassis and plum, tobacco, cedar, and herbs. Balanced acids, fairly supple tannin, very good length. A-/B+

Saturday some oysters, steamed lobster, broccoli with pasta. The 2012 Jadot/ Duc de Magenta Morgeot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er. Pear, peach, lemon and a little vanilla note, good acids, smoky finish. Drinking quite well. B+

No wine with roast chicken Sunday, as I start a diet and will avoid alcohol for next 2 weeks. :(

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
