Tried this last night when I got home:
1. Noisy Water Demigoddess Chard NM (13.0%; http://www.NoisyWaterWinery.com) JasperRiddle/Alto/NM 2021: Med.light gold color; attractive melony/Chard/almondy slight earthy light vanilla/oak slight herbal/new mown grass rather interesting bit complex nose; bit soft slight metallic/tangy fairly rich/lush rather strong melony/Chard/almondy slightly off-dry (0.1%-0.3% r.s.) very slight pencilly/oak slight herbal/new mown grass/new mown Kansas hay slight earthy/dusty/chalky rather interesting flavor; med.long bit soft slightly off-dry some vanilla/oak bit herbal/grassy/new mown grass slight earthy finish; nothing profound but quite a pretty expression that speaks of NM Chard; would like a bit more acidity & more minerality & more intensity but this is one of the better NM Chards I've tried; perhaps would be a bit more interesting Chard w/ a bit of skin-contact; a pretty Chard at a very good price. $16.50 (KK)

More bizzyshtick from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Noisy Water is a wnry that opened in 2009 in Ruidoso (Spanish for Noisy Waters) by the Riddle family. Primary mover is Jasper Riddle who segued from running a custon T-Shirt shop into winemaking. The wines are all made from NM-grown grapes. The focus of the winery seems to be novelty wines with cutsey names (TightyWhiteys, Jo Mammas Big Red, Mango Tango, etc).
This Chard is easily the best NoisyWaters wine I've yet tried. Several yrs ago, Jasper bought the Gruet vnyds over in Engle/Rincon to the East of ElephantButte Lake. I believe this Chard is primarily from those grapes. It is better than any Gruet Chard I had from there and certainly better than than the WashState American Chard they make now.
Laura down at Pig+Fig tried this breakfast wine this morning and was quite surprised as to how good it was.
