2007 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (2/22/2023)
From half bottle this is mature but in no danger of going off a cliff anytime soon. Distinct apricot, red apple and lemon cream notes ride along a rich wave that is characteristic Spätlese from this rich vintage. More honey on the finish accentuates sixteen years of age in a small bottle, but there’s nothing dried out or eviscerated. The acids peel through on the finish, ensuring it’s not cloying. Works well with spicy Dal.

Sounds good. Thought maybe I had, but its 04.
Is Schlossberg where Schmitt is?
Re title- I remember listening to a lot of BTO as a teen. Funnily I don't hear it much these days if I listen to "classic rock" - don't remember last time I heard a BTO song

Yes, Schmitt is in Schlossberg. Rotlay is in Sonnenuhr. Anrecht is in Himmelreich. The Zeltingen triplets!

BTO comes on once in a while, but not as often as they deserve.
