Shared my dinner wine at Pig+Fig w/ the Friars:
1. Olivier Dumaine LaCroix du Verre Ad'OP: Crozes-Hermitage (14%; 100% Marsanne; Vines > 50 yrs of age; ChloeWines/Seattle) Olivier Dumaine/Larnage 2020: Med.light gold color; strong floral/Marsanne/appley/slight honeysuckle some strong/earthy quite attractive nose; lightly tart/tangy fairly rich Marsanne/appley/floral/honeyed light earthy/metallic bit complex flavor; med.long some rich/textured bit tart/metallic some floral/Marsanne/honeyed bit stony/chalky finish; shows a bit of the Marsanne/clunky character but unusually floral/perfumed for a Rhone Marsanne; should improve for some 5 yrs; a rather pleasant Rhone Marsanne at a very fair price. $30.00 (KK)

More marceefick from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. A liked this 100% Rhone Marsanne quite a bit. It reminded me some of the early Marsannes BobLindquist made at Qupe. Bob now adds a bit of Roussanne to his Marsanne to give it more of an aromatic lift & make it more attractive when young.
