2019 Savage Grace Wines Sauvignon Blanc Red Willow Vineyard Yakima Valley
This winemaker's white wines always drink better several years after release, and this is in its best zone right now. Perfect choice for last night's steak salad: grilled rib-eye and salad of frisee, walnuts, cucumber, blue cheese, lemon juice and roasted walnut oil. I know most would reach for red, but honestly the white's ability to cut thru the richness of the meat and add to the refreshing aspects of that salad was a better choice than any red could have been.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
