2014 Wind Gap Wines Syrah Nellessen Vineyard Sonoma Coast
Sixth bottle from a case and the first we truly enjoyed. All others have been weird, rough, awkward or atypical--pick your descriptor. All equal: not good. This one wasn't weird though, it was medium bodied with violets on the nose and tastes pleasantly of syrah on the more feminine side of the spectrum with sweet blueberry fruit. I am completely surprised to find out that we may salvage something from this case after all.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Nellessen was always my favorite.
