2020 Castello di Ama Purple Rose Toscana IGT Sangiovese Blend
Vivid dark pink color, a color I avoid in new world roses but embrace in Italian versions. Juicy, vibrant on the palate with with oodles of midpalate fruit (raspberry, pomegranate) and a clean, dry finish. FUN. Serious fun.

Indeed it was. I can't bring myself to use phrases like "a party in your mouth" but it was something like that.
