Nice Californian Trousseau from Combe.

Lovely NYE chinese meal. One guest brought a Trousseau from Combe winery in Santa Barbera, Calif.
I was pleasantly surprised, lighter drinking quite herbal on the nose and palate. The nose is all about raspberries, slightly funky, some spice. With the tasty food light-bodied, very refreshing, juicy fresh red berries - cherries, raspberries, strawberries. Whats not to like eh forumites!
Winery is only 550 acres.

That sure sounds like Trousseau.

550 acres? That’s actually very big.

Ah…it’s another label from Stolpman, but in partnership with Raj Parr, which explains a lot!

Happy New Year Bob!

Interesting. Haven't heard of the winery but David shed some light on it. Never had a trousseau from California, so you've got me beat. And it found its way all the way to Edmonton!

In addition to Combe, there's Sandlands, Arnot-Roberts, Pax, Jolie-Laide, etc.

For trousseau, you mean? Will likely never see it up here. I do have an OR trousseau, though.
