Had this wine last night w/ DinDin:
1. Forlorn Hope Gemischter Satz Mokelumne Glen Vnyd/Lodi WW (12.83%) Matthew Rorick Wines/Murphys 2015: Light gold color; very fragrant floral/mango/R-like/pineapple bit white pepper/spicy some complex lovely nose; lightly tart rather rich/lush strong floral/mango/carnations/R-like bit peppery/perfumed talc light earthy/chalky some complex flavor; very long floral/mango/R-like/pineapple white pepper/GV-like some earthy/chalky/perfumed talc bit soft/lush/rich fairly complex finish; a retty good replica of a Vienna GS but not that acidity; quite a pretty white; turns a bit bitter the next day & loses some of the aromatics.

More mixxerlaube from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Mokelumne Glen Vnyd is a very interesting vnyd that contains a lot of German/Austria varieties. Matt made a blend of a bunch of them & labeled it as Gemeschiter Satz after the Vienna wine. Probably only a matter of time afore the Austrian authorities get on his case about his usurping their name of GS.
