WTN: Kilakanoon "Killerman's Run" Shiraz 2002

by Bruce Hayes » Tue Apr 18, 2006 3:20 pm

South Australia.

Very dark purple in the glass.

Chocolate, spicy, red licorice, black cherry and raspberry, very tangy toward the end. Highly extracted and I found the intensity (almost shrillness) to become rather wearing and overpowering with time.

A long finish of sweet, spicy fruit.

Hey Bruce, hows it going? I have an Aussie Shiraz tasting on wednesday here in town. I will post something if the birding festival planning allows me. I am so busy the next ten days. Kili Rocks.
