Had these three over the last few days:
1. Ridge Zin PasoRobles LatePicked Calif (95% Zin/5% PetiteSirah; 15.6%; Dusi Ranch; bttld Dec 98; SaH: 27.5%; RS: 0.5%; Drk: 11/98-young: PD) 1997: Dark color w/ some browning; strong late hrvsty/alcoholic some raisened/pruney bit ripe/boysenberry/Zin/PR jammy light vanilla/Am.oak some complex nose; soft rather raisened/pruney fairly overripe/alcoholic/fumey fairly sweet some boysenberry/jammy/PR Zin some vanilla/Am.oakbit complex flavor w/ light ripe tannins; very long quite raisened/pruney/late hrvsty some alcoholic/fumey some boysenberry/PR jammy/Zin fairly sweet slightly bitter finish w/ little tannins; still has some boysenberry PR jammy fruit left but dominated by the raisened/pruney character. $22.00

Ridge Zin DusiRanch Late Picked PasoRobles/SLO Cnty (15.7%; 35 brls; bttld Dec 98; SaH: 28.0%; RS: 0.47%; Drk: 11/98-11/02-11/03: PD) 1997: Dark color w/ some browning; strong jammy/blackberry/boysenberry/overripe rather fumey/alcoholic some vanilla/Am.oak bit cedary/pencilly/oldZin some complex nose; soft/fat fairly sweet strong blackberry/boysenberry/jammy PR Zin some hot/fumey/alcoholic rather overripe/late hrvsty some vanilla/Am.oak slightly tired/drying bit complex flavor w/ light soft tannins; very long fairly sweet very ripe/PR jammy/boysenberry bit tired finish w/ light tannins; still rather interesting but dominated by the overripe/late hrvsty character; not as raisened/pruney as the regular LP; still good for the genre but not going anywhere. $22.00 (ATP)

Ridge LyttonSprings DryCreekVlly/Calif (14.9%; 80% Zin/15% PetiteSirah/2% Carignane/2% Mataro/1% Grenache; bttld Feb 99; Drk: 1/99-1/04: PD) Cupertino 1997: Dark color w/ some browning; strong cedary/pencilly/oldZin fairly spicy/blackberry/Zin/peppery vanilla/Am.oak fairly complex rather attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy rather metallic fairly cedary/pencilly/oldZin rather tired/dried out slight blackberry/Zin/peppery strong Am.oak/vanilla flavor w/ light metallic tannins; very long cedary/pencilly/oldZin light blackberry/spicy/peppery bit complex finish w/ light drying tannins; not totally dead yet but rather tired on the palate but a pleasant nose; still speaks of LS & shows some of that LS spiciness. $27.00

1. Was a bit disappointed by how far along the LS was. A rather attractive LS nose but pretty tired on te palate.
I much preferred the Dusi LP to te regular as it had more of that PR/jammy fruit. But they both were pretty raisened/pruney & didn't offer up mch pleasure.
