More kriddlecroak from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. LLauralor Slctns is the natural wine arm of JosePastorImprts. As a rule, the JosePastor wines are pretty good. As another rule, the LLaurader Slctns are pretty dreadful. They capture all that is bad about the natural wine movement. They are the darlings of SweetAlice. This wine was pretty much undrinkable. No prospects of improving. Down the drain, not the gullet.
The chat fou (Crazy Cat) attracted my attention because of the name Eric Texier on the label. It was billed as a glou-glou wine and it fully delivered on that character. Quite light & vapid & lacking in any character. I generally like Eric's wines quite a lot...plus he's a fellow Nuclear guy. I've had plenty of glou-glou wines that showed much more interesting character. This one was lacking.
