Tried these three over the last few days:

3. Dirupi Ole DOC: Rosso di Valtellina (13%; Nebbiolo; www.dirupi.com; GiulianaImprts/Boulder) S.A.Dirupi/Ponte/Valtellina 2020: Med.light/correct Nebb color; lovely very Nebb/floral/lilacs/violets slight pungent/tarry bit earthy/dusty/Valtelline slight pencilly quite fragrant nose; rather tart/tangy fairly tannic strong floral/Nebb/lilacs some earthy/tarry/pungent bit complex flavor w/ ample hard/chewey tannins; very long strong floral/Nebb/lilacs/violets light earthy/tarry/dusty slight pencilly/oak some complex finish w/ some hard tannins; needs at least several yrs of age yet & should go out longer; doesn't have the soaring aromatics of Piemonte Nebb & a bit lightish for a Valtelline Nebb but pretty classic Valtelline Nebb at a very good price. $29.00 (SFW&S)

More burglflops from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. When I was visiting the Valtelline 5-6 yrs ago, I tried several of the Dirupis & found them to be a bit too unclean. This Nebb was not at all like that. They own no vnyds but make their wine from rented vnyds on rugged hillsides. The wnry is located in a beautiful old 16'th century bldg.
This was one of the better Valtelline Nebbs that you can find here in NM.

2. Riesling is not found a whole lot in the Sudtirol, mostly Traminer. I was quite impressed by this R. It has a purity of R expression you don't often find in Italy. Far better R than most from the Langhe.
