2016 Thomas Gerrie Wines Syrah Les Collines Vineyard Walla Walla Valley
A Washington syrah made by an Oregon pinot noir maker, and it shows. That is, there's no 'animale' or road tar here, rather it's all about pretty, refined fruit in the raspberry/loganberry realm with good acidity. Blind, might guess counoise. Interesting stuff! Have opened several since purchasing a case over a year ago and every bottle is better than the last.

2018 Goodfellow Family Cellars Pinot Noir Long Acre Whistling Ridge Vineyard Ribbon Ridge
Transluscent ruby color with tart, red currant fruit. Drank over two hours hoping for a bit more fruit but to no avail. Strictly a food wine at this point.

2019 Ramey Chardonnay Rochioli Vineyard Russian River Valley
A bit reductive on the nose and full of crystals, even on the first pour. Loved the wine anyway, but for those reasons am not sure this wasn't a slightly off bottle.

Yes--I guess. Lots and lots of them; never seen them like that. They clung to the inside of our glasses like fine salt--and as I said, on the first pour.

Huh. Never seen that with a Ramey. Will grab one of mine soon.

I've not seen that either. Yes, vaguely yellowish crystals that sit in one little pile in the bottom of the glass on the last pour, but not this.
