WTN: 2019 Ridge Geyserville

2019 Ridge Geyserville - USA, California, Sonoma County, Alexander Valley (10/20/2022)
One sip and it’s old home night. There’s a familiarity. Drinking Ridge wine from this site for over 30 years, and it’s instantly recognizable. The little bit of succulence to the fruit, the oak spice, and touch of butter, and the measured concentration speak to the Ridge execution of this Alexander Valley site. Overall I don’t see this as a benchmark or standout version of Geyserville, but it’s completely solid, and presents a classic version of the wine. I will be completely happy drinking it for years to come.
