2014 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (10/12/2022)
Served blind as part of an informal tasting, this was opened, but not decanted about 90 minutes prior to service.

Bristling acidity and tannins, feels like a bit of a monster. Lots of deep red fruit, as well as subtle spice. Pretty much everyone thought it was a Syrah, so complete surprise when it was revealed. Hopefully that red fruit is enough to stand up to the tannins, as they were really aggressive.
