2020 Bedrock Wine Co. Heritage Wine Nervo Ranch - USA, California, Sonoma County, Alexander Valley (9/22/2022)
Bright and nervy, this shows more obvious acid, and so greater freshness than many Bedrock wines. It also makes more linear, as the acids focus the fruit, which does not spread out on the palate as much as other Bedrock Heritage wines. More food friendly, if less luscious, there’s a good balance, and also distinctiveness. Early days, and plenty of material for further aging. Drink a bottle soon to catch the brightness, but age a few to see what happens as it evolves.
