2018 Torii Mor Pinot Noir Willamette Valley
Light color and body, pleasing to nose and palate but nothing special.

2014 BEAST Sémillon Spring Creek Vineyard Columbia Valley
A very sophisticated white wine; rich on the palate but not tropical or butterscotch-y as semillons made in America tend to be. Good structure, no oxidation. I don't seek out semillons but would if more were like this one.

2015 Bodegas AGE Rioja Siglo crianza Tempranillo
A 1-2 hour decant is needed to open up the fruit and achieve balance with the considerable acidity, but once it gets there it's a pretty nice unspoofulated bottle of tempranillo for just $12. Good candidate for short-term aging.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
