2019 Schäfer-Fröhlich Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Spätlese Goldkapsel - Germany, Nahe (9/3/2022)I suspect this is closing down, as even after four hours of air it showed almost nothing on the nose. Thankfully it was more interesting on the palate, with Golden Delicious apple and spice notes. Not crazy sweet, even as a gold cap wine, and the acidity kept everything fresh. Excellent potential, but not a wine to open now.
