NV Henri Champliau Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé Champagne Blend
One of the best Cremants I've had in a long while. Pale pink. Taut and demure, beautifully balanced fruit, acidity and crisp, dry finish. I only bought three bottles, wish I'd bought more.

I'll go look. Was $23.95 shipped. Really fantastic. I should check into getting more. It was better than the three real-deal champagnes that showed up at last Saturday night's Dork Rose Tasting. Also a heckuva lot better was the Felsina sparkler I showed after the champagnes. Lucky for us the distrib who handles this for our area was present (I acquired mine from an out of state source) and she knew that it had just shown up in her book. Everybody put in orders.

Did the label really have the C-word (Champagne) on it? Cremant de Bourgogne has its own AOC. The closest they could get to using the C-word is to say "methode champenoise", and I'm not even sure if it's legal for them to mention that.

There are several Cremant de Bourgogne houses in Savigny-Les-Beaune and I was lucky enough to visit the commune the day that most of them were participating in a day-long open house free tasting. The place was crawling with blotto German tourists (as this was Ascension Week) but I was very impressed by the wines. But I don't get to see much CdB around here. :(

I'm sure the label doesn't say Champagne, looks like Jenise pulled off Cellartracker, format is wine name, with grape (or type of blend) beneath.
Not too thrilled with most Cremant de Bourgogne, but some are good. I want to try Bruno Dangin as several people have praised.

Exactly right. And this is one of the good CdBs. Exceeded expectations.

Winebow, under a category/banner called Craft + Estate.

Btw, it's 75/15/10 PN, chardonnay and gamay.
