WTN: JJ Prüm Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Auslese 2007

Green/gold, green apple, lemon peel, baked apple, grape skins, apple skins. Medium+ weight. In terms of sweetness, closer to Spatlese than Auslese. Thoroughly enjoyable. A hint of bitterness at the long finish prepares you for the next sip. Long, long life ahead, but a great drink now.

Thanks for the check in. 2007 is an interesting vintage in the Mosel. The wines have always been very drinkable. I don't think they will ever become profound, but I suspect they will be long-lived and smile inducing.
