2016 Dirty and Rowdy Merlot Alder Springs Vineyard - USA, California, North Coast, Mendocino County (7/18/2022)Hard to believe that it’s been over three years since I last had this wine. Of course time has been a bit of an odd construct these last few years. The time has been good to this wine. The fruit has settled in and developed a velvety sheen. The herbal elements have turned to mint and rosemary. It’s texturally inviting while remaining lithe and limber. It’s a featherweight that can jump out of the way when one tries to capture it. Delightful.

it's great when someone makes a tasty CA merlot, reminds us that they don't need to taste like most of them!
Great note

What Dale said. Good job.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
