2002 Sociando Mallet

by Patrick Martin » Thu Jul 14, 2022 8:26 pm

Purchased at release for a song, like all 02’s. Lovely, aromatic bouquet with rich cassis, engaging fresh herbal notes, black peppercorns, and an earthy-tarry-savory backdrop. Lithe, lighter weight, mineral-infused palate with good verve and grip. Wide open, ready to go. Delightful.

That’s fantastic. I have a bunch of this, and have been planning to dig out a few (and some other 2002s). Very useful note. Thanks.

How about we all open a few 02s? I can play.

It will have to wait until fall for me, but I am game.
