2021 Idlewild Erbaluce Mendocino
Opened this at home so got the full experience vs. just a tasting pour at the winery. Much as I liked it then, I underestimated it based on that small pour. Straw color. Nose of canned pear and lime with both plus dry honey on the midpalate and white pepper on the finish. Rich yet bright, and a lot more body than expected. Unlike any other white I've ever had but for, perhaps, a rich a roussanne from the Savoie, and I love it. May not make it through the summer without re-ordering.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Like I said elsewhere, the 2020 did not do much for me, but I am always open to trying again!
