2019 Bedrock Wine Co. Ode to Lucien - USA, California (6/12/2022)
I had intended to wait longer before opening another bottle, but things happen. Ultimately this tastes more like a Bedrock vineyard wine than it did several months ago. Still has some of the sappy quality from last fall, but there’s more obvious tension and structure. The fruit remains dark and a bit lush, but a path of development is opening. Hopefully I will exercise some degree of patience with my remaining bottles.

Probably not, but beauty is truth.
