WTN: Daniel Bouland Morgon Les Delys 2020

Very dark, opaque. Nose and palate full of ripe black berries. Rich and fat. A bit of tannin at the finish, but hardly noticeable with food. Quite attractive. Very nice to drink now but has the structure to age. Has enough stuffing to go head to head with couscous and spicy mergeuze sausage.

Have you had other 2020 Bojos, Jay, and if so how would you compare? Disappointing '18s has me ready to swear off Bojo.

This is only the second 2020 I've had and both were from the same maker, so it may not be representative of the vintage. Both quite rich, high alcohol - but I only found out by looking at the label. Doesn't feel like it when drinking. Big wine, but appropriate for what I was eating.

It's a string of tough/ripe vintages, but apparently 2021 has more 'freshness'.
